From koalas and kangaroos to Tasmanian devils, Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary is a haven for recovering and orphaned animals of all shapes and sizes in the region. This great sanctuary is always a hit with the kids as they'll be able to have a face-to-face, fun and educational encounter with native Aussie wildlife. This is a must-do if you’ve never been to a wildlife sanctuary before

This is a must-do if you’ve never been to a wildlife sanctuary before. You will get to see (and feed) kangaroos. Make sure to take the guided tour included in admission to see feeding of devils plus koalas and wombats up close. Friendly and helpful staff. Bring a picnic to enjoy at the park.

Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary - I have visited many of these places being a vet nurse

Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary - I have visited many of these places being a vet nurse. I am often nervous as to what the living conditions will be like for the wildlife having seen some terribly bad ones. Bonorong, however, was a pleasure to visit. The staff were lovely, animal enclosures were large and well maintained and the view was amazing. Easy to find and I will visit again!

The feeding the Kangaroos at Bonorong wildlife sanctuary was great

The feeding the Kangaroos at Bonorong wildlife sanctuary was great. The kids enjoyed it very much. We learned more about the aussie animals during 'The tour explanation' (we are from china) and were able to have close encounters with the animals.

Visitors to Bonorong get a guided explanation of the sanctuary’s rehabilitation efforts, as well as a real-life lesson on the impact of wildlife conservation while on a tour of the grounds.
